Corvairs featured drum brakes on all wheels, unlike the more common disc/drum combination of the TR-7 and other sports cars of that era.
Drum brakes are not difficult to repair or rebuild, but they have lots of fiddly parts that require 3 hands upon reassembly. A search of the web uncovered a few resources which appear here with permission of the authors.
